We start out today with our weekly guest Frank Salvato, Managing Editor of the New Media Journal, who addresses the RUSH to get the Health Care Bill passed this weekend in Congress by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Frank also addresses the attack on our Troops at Ft. Hood, TX. by a Muslim Military Officer who was showing his 'true roots' for months but nobody payed any attention to the warnings.

Then we have an EXCLUSIVE interview with FL-13 Congressman Vern Buchanan just back from a fact finding trip to Afghanistan. Congressman Buchanan tells us what he heard and saw while he was in Country including meeting with some of our Local Military personnel serving there.

We follow that interview with a call from USS New York Culinary Specialist Seaman Anna Stucke who is the Baker responsible for making the cakes that will be ship like replicas of the USS New York. Those cakes will be on every table for the Commissioning Ceremony Banquet.

Of course we have our "Heroe's Segment" next where we honor our brave Military men and women who have gone beyond the call of duty in their service to America!

Sally talks about this week's vote and the message it sent to Washington. She also talks about Cong. Buchanan's trip to Afghanistan, his Sunshine Proposal keeping the doors open while the Health Care Bill is being discussed, the 72 Hour Bill proposed by Cong. Buchanan and where he'll be on Veterans Day November the 11th.

Our next guest is 7 time Oklahoma Congressman Ernest Istook, now a Distinguished Fellow with the Heritage Foundation, who tells us that 'Conservatism is alive and well', especially after Tuesday's elections. He also enlightens us as to why Nancy Pelosi does not want to listen to the message that election sent our politicians in Washington, DC.

Today our first guest's are "Red Neck Ophelia" and our own "Wild Kat" from the WSRQ Morning Show, "Wake Up Sarasota," with Troy and Kat. They talk about the Sarasota Roller Derby Girls who are forming a team to compete against teams from Tampa, Bradenton and Ft Myers. "Wild Kat" is in training so she can show her stuff when the next match comes to Sarasota. This is some FUN stuff and a little 'change' from what we normally do.

Then it's time to hear FL. U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubio who calls us from his car headed North on I-75 from Miami to Charlotte County for a speaking engagement. Candidate Rubio addresses questions about Immigration, More Foreclosures, Taxes and Jobs along with the Economy. He also takes a question from a caller about Health care. This is a very interesting interview and you will hear answers quite different from what FL. Gov. Charlie Crist has already offered.

Then we speak with Kyle Warren, "The Professor of Politics," as he tells us all the problems that California now has just trying to figure out where the Government is going to get their next dollar from. Cutbacks, Layoffs and higher taxes are all headed to California and we may be now seeing what could happen across America if something doesn't happen quick to help the floundering State's who are losing tax revenue because of businesses closing, jobs being lost and tax dollars disappearing.

Time next for Earl Pitts, "Umerikan," as he adds a little humor to all the news of the day. The 'The Captain' and 'Brad' talk about tonight's Home Run Derby at the MLB All-Star Game and who will win. The Rays Carlos Pena will be in the Home Run Derby and it should be interesting!
