Starting our with Retired Chicago Firefighter Frank Salvato, Manager of the New Media Journal, talking about Homeland Security and issues regarding the EMS and Fire-Rescue service and 9/11/2001 with Leigh Hollins CHFR Battalion Chief, Ricky Evers Retired FDNY Rescue 2 from Brooklyn and 'The Captain' talking about the upcoming Manatee County Emergency Services Tribute and Remembrance of 9/11/2001 being held starting at 0900 at Rossi Park in Bradenton, FL.
This is a MUST listen to radio show for anyone who is either in the EMS or Fire-Rescue Service or anyone who has a relative who either is or was involved in the events of September 11th, 2001.
We also get a LIVE call from Camp Taji, Iraq today from U.S. Army Sgt. Kory Smith who is on his 4th tour of Iraq and works as a Public Affairs Specialist. Sgt. Smith tells us what it's like serving in Iraq and in his own words describes what's currently going on in Iraq with the 'stand down' and 'packing up' of our Military Forces who are slowly being shipped back home.
We offer today's broadcast in memory of ALL of those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001 serving their Country during a time when the Bravest stood up in one of our Country's darkest hours ever. We will always honor the '343' of the FDNY along with ALL those lost on 9/11/2001.
