Today 'The Captain' starts out nominating Pres. Barack Obama for the Heismann Trophy and as the NBA MVP for this season since he can play hoops. We're just getting a 'jump' since the precedent has been set with the Nobel Peace Prize. Now the expectations are Pres. Obama will win ALL the remaining awards left to be given including the NHL Con Smythe Trophy.
Time next for Candidate Greg Steube, Manatee Sheriff Brad Steube's son, who is running for FL. State Rep in the 67th District a seat now held by Ron Reagan. Greg answers some interesting questions posed by 'The Captain' which will give you a good idea of where he stands on some important issues facing Floridians. Greg is also an Iraq War Veteran who served in the U.S. Army.
Time next for some more comparisons of greatness for our current President as we find more things to nominate him for.
Then we talk about the Florida Gators GREAT win against LSU and "Super T" taking it to the LSU Tigers! Toss in some #21 USF Bulls football news about Thursday night's BIG game at Raymond James Stadium against the #8 Cincinnati Bearcats in what WILL be the biggest game YET for the young USF Bulls Team!
For those of you along the Suncoast, you can hear that all important Big East matchup LIVE on AM 1220 WSRQ Thursday night starting @ 7 PM ET.
